Just when I needed a pick me up today, a little encouragement, and a small whisper from God I get it.

I’m pushing forward with my boutique and I will open. I want to prove that I can do something for me. Something that makes me feel like me again.

I’ve been groomed since I was 5 to be an entrepreneur. I sold my own art to my moms clients at age 8. At age 14, I made and printed brochures for my classmates for a class projects. I charged $5 a brochure. I’ve held a job since I was 15 and worked closely with CEO’s, business owners and managers at every position held. My dad has always pushed for me to “be my own boss” and my mom has been a small business owner since I was born.

Today is the day that I decide that I want to do what I was born to do.
